Introduction to Topic

In this first week, we had one introductory lecture on fluvial hydraulics and ecohydraulics in which we largely covered the syllabus and housekeeping items. We then spent our first lab, snowshoeing up Temple Fork and making some very basic observations of hydraulics.

Why we're Covering it

This week is all about getting everyone on the same page and managing expectations for the rest of the course. Part of explaining those expectations is understanding what the primary learning outcomes for the course are.
