Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course. However:

  • It is strongly recommended that you have had some college Calculus (e.g. MATH 1210 & 1220) and Physics (e.g. PHYS 2210 or PHYS 2110) recommended.
  • It is assumed you are comfortable using the Windows operating system, and can perform basic tasks such as copying files, moving folders, opening documents, exploring folders, unzipping files.
  • It is also assumed you are familiar with Blackboard and are able to upload assignments, download files and participate in web-based discussions.
  • Some GIS experience is handy, but not necessary.

Refresher Course:

A calculus refresher course (MATH 0923) will be held from 4-9pm Jan, 3 - Jan, 7 2011.  The cost is $100.  See here to register.
